We have a Whirlpool Gold dishwasher Model GU980SCGB2 / Serial FJ1811808

it started leaking last night - not from the bottom near the floor but a few inches up up where the machine and the metal plate meet, as well as the bottom of the door.
It does not leak when filling or draining, only when the wash cycle starts. I removed the lower dishwasher spray arm above the motor and that stops the leaking issue.
I looked at the arm and everything looks ok (i probably wouldn't know anyway, I am a not a professional). Should I replace the arm and related seals and bearings related to the arm? Any insights would be very helpful - I am not familiar with appliance repair and would feel better getting a little advice.

Thank you in advance!
