I thought I posted this earlier but I don't see it. Please forgive if this is a repeat. My circa 2004 Whirlpool DU195PWKBO dishwasher won't drain after a complete cycle. All drain lines are flowing fine. The DW drain hose flows straight into a 1 1/2' stack under the sink. I took apart the inside section of the pumps down to the impellers. All seemed fine and moved freely during reassembly so I didn't replace any parts. When I ran it after cleaning and reassembly, it definitely was pumping through the hose but there was still a couple of inches of water in the bottom. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Remove the drain tube from the house plumbing and let it drain into a 5 gallon pail.
Be sure to hold the drain tube securely and put a towel etc. over the pail while it drains. Unless you want water all over.
If it drains properly then you know the problem is something to do with the house plumbing and/or the drain hook up.

Check that the drain tube is looped up high enough. I could be that the unit is siphoning water back into the the unit.

Thanks, denman. Are you talking about draining the water left in the tub after a wash or while the DW is running?
