The lower spray arm came off and burned on the heating element, but the arm support and glass filter also dislodged.

I can follow the video on how to replace the lower arm, but I'm not sure that's the only problem. When I place the spray arm support into the glass filter and turn it counter clockwise as shown in the video, it does tighten somewhat, but it can be easily dislodged by gently pulling upward. Should it be like this or should the "locking" be more secure?

The arm support and the filter look fine; my concern is how tight they should lock. Any help would be appreciated.
