Hello, I have a Kenmore QuietGuard 2 Dishwasher (Model # 66517002400) that is about ten years old. It stopped working all of a sudden. There are no indicator lights in the control panel (the LED lights next to the buttons) and nothing happens when I press any of the buttons. First I tried replacing the thermal fuse, but that did not solve the problem. I checked the new thermal fuse and the power in and out of the door latch with a multimeter. Since there was continuity, neither of those things seem to be the problem. I then ordered a replacement control board, but installing that did not solve the problem either. Are there other diagnostic tests I should try? Do I need to replace the control panel/console? Should I bother to have a technician come try to fix it or should I just get a new dishwasher?
