My dryer, when in Time mode, will periodically stop. There will be no indicators illuminated or a light on in the drum. There is no power at all. Without doing anything to repair the dryer, after a period of time, a PF indication will be displayed. This has happened twice in a weeks time, with errorless performance of the dryer in between the failures. I checked both the power connection in the wall, and the dryer power cable for loose connections. everything was tight, and there was no scorching on the connections indicating a loose connection. This problem indicate a thermal issue, but what thermal problem will take away all of the power to the dryer? If the main circuit board failed, would it no be a hard failure? Are there thermal protections on this dryer that remove power to protect the dryer, but after cooling will reconnect all of the power?
Thanks
Norm
