My dishwasher makes a really loud grinding noise. I mean really loud! Too loud to try and see if it works or not. I pressed the "Cancel" button, then the "Start" button. That's when the noise started. Did I break something?

I took apart what was inside, cleaned everything and put it back together. That wasn't it.I took out the drain pump to look at it. Looks fine, I guess. The thing turns okay.

It's a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II Model DU1100XTPSA. Can you help a damsel in distress? (Serious. Well maybe not a damsel, a 62 year old grandma.)
