Whirlpool dishwasher cavitation during wash cycle

The dishwasher was bought at IKEA. The output hose of the pump had a leak so I replaced the motor with this pump http://photo.sogedis.fr/pieces/33632.jpg

The rinse cycle is fine and the start of the wash cycle is fine but about 5 mins into the wash cycle the wash pump start cavitating. The water level is fine as if I run just a rinse cycle there's no problem. I think it's related to the heating of the water which increases the chance of cavitation. Do I just have the wrong pump replacement?
