Regarding: Kenmore undercounter dishwasher, Model Number 665.175122020.
On the Dishwasher Electronic Control Board, part # 8534866, at CON2 the blade that belongs in the space allocated for the 1st connection, T (P8?), is stuck in the wiring harness. In its spot on the board is a black scorch about 6mm dia.
The end of the Tan wire at the harness also reflects high heat.
The end of the Tan wire at the Door Switch looks fine.
Question: If I replace the board will it short out again? Could there be a load somewhere along the Tan wire that may have generated a fault?
Or somewhere else?
