Last night a dish on the top rack caught on a small plastic part at the top center of the unit. It's a small disc with two indentations in the perimeter of it. It was still attached and I never knew what it was supposed to look like before, so I ran a cycle of dishes. Things got clean, but there was a new rattling noise at certain points.

I'm wondering if this part is broken. It's attached but seems a little flimsy. It spins loosely and I'm not sure if it's supposed to do that or not. Any help identifying this part and how it's supposed to function properly would be great.

Thanks!

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Kenmore numbers are usually 3 digits, a period and then an additional 8 digits.
You seem to be missing the first 3 digits.
