Model Number: WJSR2080V1WW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Washer was making a terrible grinding noise, no spin or agiation. Clutch pin rusted off, only the belt seemed to be holding the clutch in place. My question is- there appears to be a pin/very small hollow rod, I'll call it a tube pin that goes through the shaft just above the clutch, one end is broken off the other partially. I don't see any replacement part listed for the tube pin...hate to think I need a whole new motor unit. I imagine that tube pin sits inside the clutch unit and turns it? wonder if I can put a makeshift
