Default does not cycle correctly
Model Number: KUDC25CHBT1   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: 5 - 10 years

My dishwasher has 3 steps to it's washing cycle. On the 1st step. This is what happens; It fills up with water. Pauses, then the "sensing" light pops on for a quick second. During this "quick second". The motor starts as if it's going to start washing. The "sensing" light turns off and so does the motor.(all this happens in a second or so) It then drains itself. The 2nd step happens exactly the same as the 1st step. The 3rd step. However, starts like this. Fills up with water and starts washing normally. The "sensing" light never turns on and it works fine. My dishes are never clean with only one step working. Does anybody know what's causing this?

Your water temperature may be too low, just check with a thermometer.
