i recently picked up another whirlpool quiet partner ii off of craigslist for really cheap. According the owners everything worked fine. I already had another qp 2 but with a bad touch panel and it was well abused before we moved in. I installed the one from craigslist, it starts up and runs but will not drain. The cancel/drain button doesn't operate. The led will not light up, when its running it does not try and drain. It just goes back into whatever cycle it is on. I was able to get it do a reset by heated dry/normal. Unfortunately I did not take notice if the cancel LED lit up with all the others or not. Have not been able to repeat the reset since. I also unplugged the touch panel harness from the control board and put power back on and the dishwasher did not run(which i believe points to a faulty control board?) Just wondering where to go from here?

Before I installed the craigslist dishwasher, I initially installed the control panel(touch pad) only on my old unit. It ran but would not drain and performed the same way as it is now. So i figured maybe my control board was bad, so i installed the whole unit.

Also, I did take the control panel off the craigslist unit and ohmed out the wiring harness at connections P1-12 and P1-3. According to the diagnostics it said it should go from infinity down to a readable level. I didn't write down the numbers I got but I believe they were in the 2.2M ohms.
