Hello,
The dishwasher door was open when our very heavy kitchenaid mixer fell off the counter onto the open door. Now we are having difficulty shutting and keeping the door shut. The wiring is fine because we can start the machine, just can't keep it shut. The latch seems to be working but the door just wants to drop. I am thinking it is a door hinge issue- would this be the most likely issue? If so can I buy new hinges and replace on my own easily? Thanks

Yes but may be just a spring or something else. You will have to remove the kick plate and may have to pull the unit out a foot or so from the cabinet so you can see what is going on.

If so can I buy new hinges and replace on my own easily?
Yes you can get replacements (items 3 and 2A in section 05).

Cannot say how easy it will be but is definitely doable for anyone with some DIY talent.
