Model Number: AB915112 Brand: Hotpoint Age: More than 10 years
The dishes in my hotpoint dishwasher won't come clean. One suggestion I have seen is to clean the washe arm. I can't get it off. I also can't find a manual or diagram to help. It has a wash tower but no visible way to loosen it to get to a screw to remove the washer arm. All the sites I have visited (Hotpoint and Camco plus other repair sites) do not even recognize my model number. I don't know what to do. Please help if you can.

Check the water level, should be just below the heater, if ok, open the door a few times and check for water spray from the lower spray arm and also check that it is turning. If poor spray, twist off the tower above the lower wash arm, i think you turn it counterclockwise. Use a large adjustable pliers to do this. Then check under the wash arm for a worn gasket.
Also, remove the rear tub pump cover and check for blocking items at the pump inlet.
