Model Number: Twenty-Eight Hundred Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
We keep getting code C4 which means too much water.
There is no water in the dishwasher.(maybe just a little) We push reset, turn the dishwasher lever to on, push the cycle selection, and then it acts like it is going to start for a second or two, then the C4 appears. Is there any way possible for me to get rid of the C4 error code? |

Donna, You have to shut the water supply off, lock the door and allow the machine to pump out water in order to clear the code. Once the water level reaches an acceptable level, the dishwasher will allow a reset and all will be well until next time. I have dealt w/ this code 3 or 4 times. I believe that it is a drain issue causing it. Good luck Jeff
