Model Number: GU2400XTPS3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I am replacing the fill valve assembly and is there a trick to get the clips off of the cylinoid? I've tried everything and they will not budge.

I am assuming by solenoid you mean the one holding the tubing that goes to the pump from the water valve.
The trick is to get the right set of pliers that have fairly heavy teeth. Needle nose are usually no good because the teeth are too small and does not hold the ring solidly. Get the ring ends in the teeth, close them and pull the ring straight back. There are probably pliers made especially for this but I have a set of small slip joint pliers that does the job. I use the teeth in the center part File:Pliers slip 01CJC.png - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
