LG with above model number. Hinge spring ordered and received. Only video I can find is one that shows the spring mounted externally.

Mine not that way. Must have changed the design. Apparently I have to remove the door panel and/or a side panel. Is there a video out there to show me? I swear that I saw one b4 I ordered the part. Been a while. Husband recovering from surgery. Flying solo. Help!

Couldn't wait. Took off a side panel. There it was. There are two, one on each side. Hinge springs looked brand new. What was broken was the rope on one side. Easy.
