Model Number: gu 2400xtp83 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
The door drops too easily. No doubt a tension spring has failed. I have ordered a new spring. I would like the procedure for accessing the door spring.

You have to remove the toe panel and, probably, pull the dishwasher about half way out of the cabinet.
