High Limit Thermostat wire burned
My dishwasher stopped heating. When I looked underneath the wire connected to the high limit thermostat was burned. Checked continuity on the heating element and the thermostat and both were good. Things don't generally burn for no reason. Where should I look next if both the heating element and thermostat look ok?
I ended up replacing the High limit thermostat and for now the dishes dry.
I would replace both of the thermostat wire connectors. Typically, loose or poor connections cause that burning you have there.
