One day the washer didn't complete it's cycle. Upon investigation I found the circut breaker on the main eletric panel was tripped. Cleaned everything out, reset the breaker and it worked for a few days. I now see the cycle lights are flashing and it sounds like the pump is trying to start but is not getting enough electricity. After a few minutes, the circut breaker trips again.

How can I determine what's wrong?

Check the electric connections to the machine. Make sure one of the wires didn't pull loose. I always wire-nut my connections, then tape them, starting just below the wire nut, to make sure the wires stay together.
