No water is in the tub when turned on.

Assuming there is nothing wrong with the water shut off valve under the sink and it is open, the first thing I would check is the position of the float (#28 on the tub break down diagram).

With no water in the dishwasher it suppose to be in the down position, causing the float switch (#29 on the tub break down diagram) to close the circuit to the water inlet valve.

If there is nothing wrong and 120V is coming to the water inlet valve when the timer calls for water then the water inlet valve has to be replaced.

- The part number for the water inlet valve is AP178686

Here are the break down diagrams for the Crosley dishwasher Model CDU810B
