I have been experiencing an ongoing issue in which my dishwasher shuts off mid cycle. It begins as normal and starts filling with water and then abruptly shuts off, with all of the display lights also shutting off. When I open the dishwasher there is standing water in the bottom. If I select cancel/drain it drains successfully, but when I start it again it shuts off mid cycle. It doesn't always shut off at the same stage of the process. Sometimes it shuts off very quickly, other times it will go through several stages of the cycle before abruptly shutting off. Periodically it will go through an entire cycle, which of course is a blessing, but most of the time it won't complete an entire cycle. Does anyone have any ideas concerning how to fix this issue without seeking professional help?
