My dishwasher starts, sprays water, then shuts down. In a couple of minutes it does the same thing over again. Any feed back on whats wrong with it.

First off check your electrical connections at the junction box and make sure your wiring coming in is good and you have a good ground also in the junction box......should be 120v hot to nuetral then hot to ground........check the bottom of the sump pump and clean out the bottom of the dishwasher completely and throughly to check for any obstructions in the unit.......You can go to sears parts website and see a schematic breakdown of the unit so you can assemble it back together properly....once that checks out try testing the unit and see if you have the same problem......if it's crapping out again check the voltage at the sump pump and see if you have continuous power going to the sump pump should be 120v...........if you notice you have 120v and the sump kicks off with voltage present you probably have a bad sump............if there isn't 120v present at the sump pump after it's filled up check the tech sheet under the bottom panel or behind the door panel and follow the schematics back to the main board if there's anything in the path ohm test it for continuity.....most units don't have much between the main board and sump it's usually a direct wire set.........if you have 120 going out the main board but not getting to the unit it may be a short or a bad connection in the harness...........Double check the connections and the voltage......Check your door switches for continuity and good connections as well.....
