When I start my washer it does not go through the cycles and makes a humming/grinding sound. I checked the water outlet and it seemed like it was turned off as the valve was horizontal not veritical like the other valves. Please advise on possible solutions as I have been waiting all day for the repair company to call and schedule to get here,:confused:

Hello,

Start the machine. Wait 4-5 minutes and open the door to see if there is water inside. Post the results.

Which way would the valve show open, verticle or horizontal? There is no water when i ran the washer.
