For the corroded upper rack of my 24 year old GE dishwasher (GSD980T-02) instead of the original AP4363205, no longer made, perhaps, I received replacement part WD28X10220. From instructions on this site, I was able to remove the endcaps on the sliders and slip the new rack in. However, the front rollers on the new one are only halfway to the front of the rack, so when I pull the rack front, it can come entirely out of the dishwasher box. This seems pretty dangerous to me. Suggestions?

I had the same problem. I bought a top rack roller kit (the one with 4 wheels) and put an extra wheel in the track on one side and attached the clip to one of the rack wires. It's not as smooth as the original, but does stop the rack from coming out too far. I did find that the replacement racks aren't as well coated as the originals, as my "new" bottom rack is beginning to corrode. It is less 3-4 years old.
