Default Whirlpool Dishwasher not filling!
Model Number: GU1200XTLS1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

My dishwasher was at 1st not receiving any water. So to start with I first took off and cleaned the water inlet valve, thinking that would do it. Well it did the water now will come out the end of the inlet fill hose but is now leaking at the water inlet kit. i do not understand how that water inlet kit works and what i should do to reapair it? I am in the constrution field so reapirs and rebuilding things comes easy,...so i thought!

Where exactly it's leaking from?

Did you tight the inlet bezel (#5 on the fill and overfill break down diagram)?

How good is the gasket (#4 on the fill and overfill break down diagram)?

Gene.

Default Whirlpool part, dishwasher leak

This is where it is exactly leaking from! the gasket and bezel do not leak. The part though on my dishwasher is in the horizontal position. Not up and down like in the picture.

It could be an excessive pressure in the water line. Try to play with the water shut off valve under the sink to adjust the pressure in the dishwasher line.
