I have an 18 month old Maytag dishwasher (model MDB7759AWS). Within the past few days, it suddenly stopped draining properly...after a cycle it's leaving about 1-2 inches of water on the bottom of the tub. Doesn't seem to matter which cycle I use.

-the sink/garbage disposal are draining/operating fine

-the drain line appears un-crimped and undamaged

-I have checked for clogs both where the drain line connects to the garbage disposal (no air gap) and into the dishwasher underneath. I have put the drain line in a bucket...tested a day or so ago it would drain some water (6-7 cancel/drain cycles would clear it), but as of today it doesn't seem to be draining anything. It makes noise when I run the cancel/drain cycle, but nothing seems to drain.

-I have removed the cover inside, and cleaned the parts. It was a little grimy, but no solid particles stuck that I could see. I basically followed the steps in the following youtube video (kenmore model on there seems identical to mine on the inside). Do it yourself dishwasher maintenance - YouTube

-I have let it soak in vinegar

Anything else I can try? Not wanting to pull the unit out myself.

-Shall I call call a plumber? Or contact warranty support (through my AMEX)?
