Door spring
Model Number: FDB345LF Brand: Frigidaire Age: More than 10 years
I have diswasher model FDB345LF and ordered door spring 154430501 per the webpage for that model. Upon installing it I found that it is 3/4" longer and smaller in diameter (5/8" versus 3/4" for the original) so it does not fit. It is too long to attach to the lever on the door and any of the holes on the frame. I've attached a photo of the broken original and the 154403501 replacement. Apparently the heavy duty spring 154289301 for this model is the same length. Any suggestions for the correct replacement? Thanks,

Hi.
Apparently, if you use the 154289301 springs they should be the same as the original ones. Simon.
