DW consistently fills with water and then shuts down irregardless of which mode is chosen, e.g. normal wash, light wash, etc. Display and all leds are completely off. Drain motor will run in manual mode to empty tub. DW successfully completes Sales Floor Demo, but fails Field Service Test and indicates low motor current. All resistance values at control board connectors agree with technical document values except vent wax motor. Tech doc specifies 1.2K for the vent wax motor, but DVM measures 0.375K both thru harness and directly across tabs on motor body. Is a bad control board the correct diagnosis for the low motor current failure? Does the significantly lower resistance for the vent wax motor indicate it should also be replaced? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Very likely the problem is a bad control board. The vent wax motor looks suspicious as well. The motor comes as a part of the vent assembly only. If you need the correct part number for the control board then post the serial number of the dishwasher. - The vent assembly Part number: AP4374858
