Model Number: F71C44EJS0 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
I noticed that our dishwasher was washing the floor as well as our dishes. Water was coming out from underneath ans it was running. I took off the lower front kick panel and watched as I started it. It took about 5 minutes before water started someing out of what looks like the back side of the pump/motor? Is this a gasket problem or am I looking at a complete replacement. I have not pulled the diswaher out yet, so what is the best way to approach this?
Thanks for your help. |

Water could leak through the O-ring (#59 on the pump & motor break down diagram) or through the pump seal.
You have to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet to pinpoint the leak. Post your findings and we will go further. Gene.
