Default Dishwasher control panel faceplate falls off, etc.
Model Number: SHU6806U0/U06   Brand: Bosch   Age: More than 10 years

Dishwasher is almost 14 years old - is it worth fixing?
  1. Faceplate (with Bosch logo, cycle names, etc.) falls off.
  2. Plastic part under two buttons have broken off.
  3. Cycles last HOURS (and it can't be the hot water issue explanation).
  4. Water is not completely pumped out (water collects underneath filter screen).
How difficult is it to repair/replace these things without getting a professional involved?

I need your honest opinion ...
