A few days ago our dishwasher suddenly started making very loud noises towards the end of a wash cycle ... then, at what should have been the end of the cycle, noticed the diswasher was not stopping. Opened the dishwasher, noticed the detergent door was had popped opened, but the detergent tablet was still in the dispenser ... also, dishes were still dirty. Tried running another cycle ... no longer heard the loud noises, but other problems the same ... detergent not dispensed, dishes dirty, cycle keeps running. This time also noticed that the water did not drain and the water seemed cool (definitely not hot). Tried to perform self-test ... switches do not seem to work ... will not perform self-test (as directed, in the manual) and also will not drain even if you follow manual directions to cancel/drain the cycle. What part/parts do we need to replace ... or do we need to purchase a new dishwasher? Thank you.
