fills with water, then motor comes on for 3 seconds, shuts off
Model Number: mdbh955awb Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
I can hit any wash cycle and the machine fills with water like normal, but when the motor kicks in, it will run for 3 seconds then shuts off, it does this 4 or 5 times and then everything shuts off. I've tried turning breaker off to reset, no luck. cleaned ribbon on control panel, no luck. I'm out of ideas.

Hello,
