Kitchen Aid Dishwasher - Dirty Dishes
Model Number: kuds03ctbl3 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 1 - 5 years
My Kitchen Aid dishwasher model kuds03ctbl3 leaves dirty dishes in the top basket.
So far I've removed and cleaned the "accumulator assembly", "Protector", "Chopper", the rubber "Valve", wash arms, the PVC conduits connecting the spray arms. Also, I inspected the air vent on the drain pains under the sink, all is fine.

I have noticed that the machine does not completely drain the waste water. The water stays just next to the grinder ("Protector"), at the bottom, but when I press 'Cancel' the pump drains it completely. What could be a problem?

I suspect the electronic control unit is designed to drive timing of the individual cycles, but does not check if the draining cycle is completed, which would be reported by a water level sensor. If so, perhaps the drain pump performs purely, but the control unit does not see it. Does this make sense?
Thank you, V
