Default Frigidaire not getting enough water
Model Number: FDB100RHS2   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 1 - 5 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
Frigidaire FDB1100RHS2

Just this week it is not getting enough water. I can hear the water pouring in at the beginning, then it stops. It seems to go through all of the cycles and finishes, but never fills up with enough water. It is getting a little water flowing through but not enough to reach the float whenever I open the door. It continues as though it is washing, but not nearly enough water to do anything.

After doing some research, I wasn't sure if it may be the float or the water inlet valve. Any suggestions?

Since water is getting into the unit, it will not bewitch as that shuts the water off.

I would start with the fill valve.
First check that the shut off valve is fully open.
Would not be the first time someone has partially closed it not knowing what it is for.
There is a screen filter built into the input side of the valve. Remove the valve from the unit and check/clean the screen filter.
Do not permanently remove the screen filter from the valve as it is there to keep crud out of the valve which could hold it open and cause a flood.

Default Thanks Denman

The shut off valve is fully open, but now after further troubleshooting, it doesn't seem to do anything besides filling and draining. I don't hear it washing or spinning after it fills with water. It will go through a "wash cycle" and display the clean indicator once time has past.

Any other ideas?

I cannot find any tech data on the given model number.
Tried at AppliancePartsPros and the Frigidaire site.
Please check it.

If this is a non-USA unit I may not be able to get any info on it.

Could be the motor itself or the control board.

Here are your parts
Parts for Frigidaire FDB1100RHS2 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is the tech sheet
http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodin.../154737301.pdf

I would check the main wash motor winding for continuity.
Also check that it's armature can turn.
If OK then check across the motor to see if you get 120 volts when it is supposed to be washing.

If yes and the motor does not turn it is a motor problem.

If there is no voltage then odds are the control board is toast.
