Dishwasher cycle wont advance
Model Number: GSD500l-01aw Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
The GE dishwasher wouldn't advance in the cycle. I initially thought that the soapdish was stuck. I followed the procedure cleaning the dish and checking it. Test running the dishwasher, you set it on any cycle using the knob and it sounds like it is running, but the cycle doesnt advance. It will just run forever. I cleaned out the drain at the back and checked the float. Placed a single dish in the upper rack and let it run for 30 minutes. The dish doesnt even get wet. I would like some troubleshooting steps or advice.
