I have a GE Dishwasher GSD5630D01WW that doesn't pump completely dry during the last rinse cycle. All other cycles pump properly. The final rinse cycle has three "sub-cycles". The first two sub-cycles pause for around 30 seconds then pump for 26 seconds. The very last sub-cycle pauses for approximately 50 seconds and then pumps for only 3 seconds. If I press reset and force the machine to stop after the first or second sub-cycle, the water will pump completely.
I figure the problem is with either the control board or the sequence switch... whichever controls the timing. I don't know if the sequence switch contains a motorized timer or whether it is just a "dumb" switch.
What are your thoughts regarding the source of the problem?
