No power to controls
Model Number: MDB6650AWB Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
While starting the dishwasher, control lights flicked on and then went off. Now I have no power to the lights and dishwasher does not start. I checked the power wires and have 124 volts coming into the dishwasher. Not sure how to check continuity to door switches. The handle that open the door broke off several weeks ago and now does not seat properly though it allows me to open and close the door. Could that be a problem? How can I check the actual switches on the door handle and will they cause no power to controls? Any help is appreciated as I am kind of new to this. Thanks.
