I just replaced the control board but noticed a odd phenomena. When I turned on the power I noticed the speed wash and the rinse only LED's were dimlylit so I pushed the heated dry for 5 seconds and that LED turned off but the speed wash and rinse only lights remained dimly lit.
I pushed the speed wash button and it lit fully and when I pushed start the dishwasher started and is running.

I am not sure what is happening and am wondering if there is a tiny voltage leak between the two buttons mentioned. I don't know how to troubleshoot this. The lights were the same before I replaced the control board but in that case the dishwasher refused any action. Could the ribbon cable be a problem? What do you suggest I do?

The cycle completed but still the LED lights on the speed wash, rinse only, start, cancel are dimly lit and the clean LED is bright. The user manual does not show how to run diagnostics. Can a senior member direct me?
