At startup the pump motor loudly hums as if the impeller is stuck and won't move. I have removed the water distribution assembly, the cover for the grinder blade and screen, and removed the water from unit. am wondering how to get to the impeller to see if something is blocking.

The only way to access it is to remove the motor. The instructions are attached to the post.
