Model Number: GU94OSCGQ2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
A mouse ate black rubber hose under dishwasher on left front side. I see the diagram 6 tub assy to this model (GU94OSCGQ2), and think it is fill hose item 37. I see under dishwasher where to clamp this hose - but cannot tell from diagram or by looking underneath, where the other end of the hose is supposed to go? It was demolished by the mouse. It looks easy to replace, but do I need to pull the unit out from cabinet (I hope not). Where does other side connect to? Or, does this sound like the right hose that was eaten or could it be another?

This is common in our area with mice. The part # is AP2904734 inlet hose. One end is from the water valve and the other goes to the side of the tub (siphon break). You will need to pull the d/w forward enough to gain access to the hose and clamp. Usually this not too difficult, depending on if your supply line is flexible or solid. Good Luck...wrench
