Model Number: SHU9915uc/u06 Brand: Bosch Age: More than 10 years
Had years of trouble free operation. Replaced door seal and leaky drain hose due to pin hole. Recently dishwasher stopped working. Noticed water in the bottom tray. Removed unit and set up on work bench . Removed front cover and left panel to expose switches etc. Checked water inlet valve.. ok with ohmmeter and powered on off. Checked float switch and level switch ok. Ran diagnostic program and watched for leaks with flashlight. Noticed some dripping from heater unit assembly. Question: Does the whole unit have to be replaced or are there seals/gaskets that might be causing the leak. Heat works.
Hope someone can give me some advice before I just go and buy a whole new heater assembly. We replaced this with an LG unit but I dont want to give this great dishwasher up.. can use it as a second unit in our basement rec room area. thanks to anyone who can help Ads By Google Related Models |
