Having checked many threads, I cannot find this particular issue:
On my Whirlpool Quiet Partner II, the Clean Light remains solid instead of resetting when I latch the door, which prevents operation of any other buttons, and doesn't allow me to run a new clean cycle.

When we cut power to the unit the light goes off, but as soon as I attempt to select cleaning options it goes back on, solid, and no other functions are available.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Most likely it's a bad control board Part number: W10285180

But there is a chance it's the control panel.
Good thing is that you can return any unused parts back to APP even installed ones.
