Maytag MDB7160AWB Stops w/ Blinking Lights
Model Number: MDB7160AWB Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
My Maytag dishwasher MDB7160AWB was leaking so I replaced the tub/door gasket. Found the eater supply compression fitting leaking as well so I replaced that too. So far everthing looks good.
My problem: After i fixed the water leak, the dishwasher now will not run through a complete cycle. It will start and stop intermittently for about 30 min and then will flash the "Light Wash" and "Drain/OFF" Lights 1 blink simultaneously on the control panel. I know this means something... I just haven't had any luck figuring it out. Is there a service manual for my model that might help me out? Can't afford to buy a new dishwasher with the same features.
