My 9 year-old dishwasher wont start. All other lights are working but nothing happens when you push start. You can hear/feel the button push. Wondering if I need the control panel or the board, or if I should replace the dishwasher due to the age?

May be a bad control panel. You'd have to remove the panel and do a membrane switch test with a multimeter. Details on how to do this are typically on the tech sheet located behind the lower kick panel.

You may have a bad door switch. Would have to check with a meter as well.

Hope this helps.
