I have a very reliable Bosch DW that, due to my own fault, seems to have picked up a fish smell from a dish I put in and did not run the wash for a few days. I believe the smell is embedded in the insulation that surrounds the unit and I think the only way to get rid of the smell is to change the insulation. We have tried cleaning the entire kitchen, countertops, floors, and I've cleaned the interior of the DW and ran a cycle with a dish of white vinegar as a deororizer, still no luck. If I put my nose just under the countertop I can smell this from this location. How do I go about getting this part and making the replacement and thus getting rid of this smell?

OK, this is how it played out. The foul smell apparently was a by-product of a small water leak that pooled under the DW. I spent $130 for a tech to come out, only to tell me that the DW was not leaking. On further investigation, the waterline to the ice maker on the fridge developed a slow leak and the water pooled under the DW. Once I tightened the line and dried the water, the smell went away.
