detergent dispenser does not open
Model Number: MDB9150AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Hello,
Our dishwasher's detergent door will not open at all during the cycle. Any idea what might be causing this/how to fix it? Thank you.

Remove the inner door panel.
Check the wax motor (the brown device with two terminals on the right side) in the dispenser for continuity. The dispenser. Replace the dispenser assembly if the circuit is open. Replace the control board if the circuit is closed. - The part number for the dispenser assembly is AP403926 - The part number for the control board is AP3158622 Here are the break down diagram for the Maytag dishwasher Model MDB9150AWW Gene.
