Default Drain pump noise
Model Number: PDW8200J01BB   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years   
My Dishwasher started making a very rapid clicking/popping noise when draining. The noise lasts a few seconds when the drain cycle starts then stops until the water is almost completly drained then the noise starts again for 20-30 seconds.

Pull your dishwasher out, remove drain pump and clean out any items you find in there. If nothing there, replace the pump.
