my dishwasher starts but stops after 1-2 minutes. I was told to try cleaning drain. I was able to remove white cage in bottom of washer but cannot get the grey part out. should i be able to remove this and clean? if so, how do i get it out to clean it?

what was the problem with your d/w? i have the same problem.
