Model Number: SHU4302 UC/u06 Brand: Bosch Age: More than 10 years
I have the Bosh SHU 4302 UC/u06 and over the years, I have had the electronic module replaced twice after the dishwasher started running for hours.
I recently had the same problem again and came across this page: Bosch Dishwasher Control Module (266746)**|**ApplianceJournal.com so I was able to redo the soldering on the board and get it going normally for a while, but the problem came back. At the top of this article, it mentions the Part number 266746 and in the list of supported machines it lists mine (SHU 4302 UC/u06), It also says that this part has a newer 10amp relay that supposedly fixes the issue with the soldering spot burning out, so I ordered the part. I received the part, and it appears to be slightly different (it has a small LED display mine did not have). So I then went back on the site, and noticed that if I go to the actual part page it does not list my machine in the supported models (unlike the appliance journal page mentionned above), and my machine is supposed to use part AP2804247 instead. I decided to install it anyway and try it, and so far the Dishwasher is running normal again with a 1h45mn cycle. But because this part has a small led display where it gives the progression of the cycle (and which i cannot see because my facia panel does not have a window over the display area), it does not light the 3 led that show the progression on my facia panel. Clearly this is the part for the higher end models like the SHU5302 which has a facia panel with a window for the led display and a few more buttons for more program options. My guess is that all the models share the same mechanics, and only the electronic module gives access to various level of programs, together with a facia panel that exposes the buttons and led for them. I this is really the case, I am thinking of ordering the SHU5302 facia panel, so I can keep using this electronic module (which is supposed to have the 10amps relay that fixes the recurring problem) but be able to see the cycle progression. So I have two questions: 1) Can someone confirm that it is safe for me to keep this electronic module with my SHU4302 model 2) Can someone point me to an online manual of the SHU5302 so I can see what actual panel button difference exist with my model Apreciate the help Ads By Google Related Models |
